Obituary of William A. Hardy, Sr. William A. Hardy, Sr., 72, of Martville, passed away at home after a long illness. He was born on December 11, 1946 to Arthur Hardy and Gertrude Martin Hardy. William was raised in the small town of Wallington, NY. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Surviving Bill are his partner, Cindy Rowe of Martville; children, Wayne Hardy of Gouverneur, Tina Typhair of Evans Mills; William Hardy Jr. of Phoenix, Ruth Anne Hardy of Gouverneur, Katharine Hardy of Ogdensburg, Patricia Payton of Fairport and Adam Payton of Phoenix; step-daughter, Missy Friot of Fulton; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; brother, George Hardy of Dayton Ohio; sisters, Nancy Graves of Adam's Center, Pauline House of De Peyster, Mary Dusharm of Newark and Nora Payne of Wolcott; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents; son, Arthur Hardy;brothers, Raymond and Gerald Hardy; sisters: Pauline Hardy, Ada Cataldo, Ida Barton and Iva Barton. A calling hour will be Monday, August 26 from 10 to 11 am with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga St., Hannibal. Burial will follow in Pine Hills Cemetery, corner of Eel Weir Rd. (Route 4) and Lost Village Rd., Ogdensburg, NY 13669
