Obituary of Wayne L. Phillips Wayne L. Phillips, 70, of Red Creek, passed away on Sunday, April 15 at home. He was born on July 20, 1947, in Fulton, a son to the late Lloyd and Theresa (Stacy) Phillips. Wayne was a graduate of Cato-Meridian High School Class of 1965 then served in the US Navy from 1965-1968. He was a highly skilled welder and served as foreman on many of his jobsites for both the Boilmakers and Iron Workers. Wayne was a loving and affectionate father who was passionate about his classic cars and music, but above all cherished his longtime and loyal friendships. Surviving are his children, Chad Phillips, Danielle (Kevin) Doll and Jennifer (Charles) Rotach all of Red Creek; grandchildren, Shelby, Cole and Ethan Rotach, Adam, Kaylyn and Natalie Doll; siblings, Harold Phillips and Sheila (Ralph) Scruton as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4 to 6 p.m. on Friday, April 20 at Red Creek-Westbury United Methodist Church, 6827 Church Street, Red Creek, with a memorial service to follow at 6 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Red Creek-Westbury United Methodist Church, P.O.
