Victoria E. "Vikki" Merkley

Obituary of Victoria E. Merkley Victoria E. Merkley, 58, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at Upstate University Hospital. She was born on September 16, 1959, in Watertown, a daughter to the late Victor and Marjorie Townsend Cughan. In 1977 Vikki graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School in Fulton. She worked for Fulton City School District as a teacher’s aide for more than 30 years. Vikki enjoyed cruising, camping, drinking her wine but above all her grandsons. She was predeceased by her daughter, Eileen Griffin in May of 2017 and brother, Timothy Cughan. She will be greatly missed and forever loved by her husband of 38 years, John Merkley; son, Eric (Amanda) Merkley of Fulton; two grandsons, Kegan and Koen Merkley; son-in-law, Brian Griffin; sister-in-law, Ann Cughan; three sisters, Lorena, Susan and Tina; brother, Ken as well as several extended family and friends. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, October 13 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A funeral service will follow at 7 p.m.
