Obituary of Tod P. Gibson Tod P. Gibson, 75, of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, June 20 at Upstate University Hospital. He was born on April 16, 1943, in Fulton, a son to the late Casphor and Irene Stone Gibson. Tod retired from the City of Fulton D.P.W. after 25 years. He enjoyed swimming, wrestling but above all talking and having conversations with anyone. Tod was predeceased by a sister, Judy Wilkins; two brothers, Steven and Allen Gibson; sister-in-law, Agnes Hemings and two brothers-in-law, Steven and Joseph LaBeef. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Joanne Gibson; “adopted” daughter, Dionne (Josephine) LaBeef-Rodriguez; four sisters, Carolyn Kottwitz, Dian (Francis) Alder, Jacalyn (Tom) Godkin and Teri (Mark) Chesbro; one brother, Randy (Ann Marie) Gibson; three sisters-in-law, Madora Allen, Sherry LaBeef and Margaret Wheelock as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, June 25 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A celebration of life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Golisano Children’s Hospital, Foundation for Upstate Medical University, 750 East Adams Street, CAB 326, Syracuse, NY 13210, in Tod’s memory.
