Thomas “Ed” Nolan, 87, of Granby, NY, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2024, at St. Lukes’ Nursing Home. Born in Utica, he was a son to the late Thomas P. and Margaret (Walsh) Nolan. Ed worked as a Vice President of Labor Relations in transportation for his entire career. He was predeceased by his brother, Robert W. Nolan and his sister, Mary Lourdes Shaffner.
Surviving are his wife of 65 years, Marilyn (Draper); five children, Shawn (Sandra) Nolan, Colin (Linda) Nolan, Scott (Amor) Nolan, Craig Nolan, Mary Patricia (Jeffrey) Cardinale; many wonderful grandchildren and great-grandchildren; special family member, Traci Nolan; and many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 pm on Thursday, February 22nd at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 2912 State Route 48, Minetto. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation https://dogood.t2t.org/ in Ed’s memory. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements. Burial will be at Hannibal Village Cemetery in the spring.
