Obituary of Susan G. Martin January 2, 2017 Susan G. Martin, 64, a lifelong resident of Fulton passed away peacefully on Monday, January 2 at Morningstar Residential Care Center in Oswego. The daughter of the late Stephen and Gertrude (Michalski) Martin, Susan was an English teacher at Fulton Junior High School for 20 years starting in 1979. Ms. Martin was an avid reader, a Civil War enthusiast, and loved traveling. She took many trips to Gettysburg, not only to visit her friends, but to also tour the battlefields and historical sites. Susan was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Fulton. Surviving are two brothers, Frederick Martin of Fulton and George (Virginia) Martin of Seneca Falls; several nieces and nephews as well as grand-nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 8 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. on Monday, January 9 at Holy Trinity Church, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets, Fulton. Burial will be held in the spring at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton.
