Steven K. Jodway, 65, of Fulton, NY passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at home. Born in Fulton, he was a son to the late Leon and Doris (Draper) Jodway. He graduated from G. Ray Bodley High School Class of 1978 then went on to work for the Laborer’s Union Local 214 retiring after 37 years. Steve was an avid hunter and softball player. His family owned and operated Pierre’s Cabin where they played softball and Steve was known for being a good hitter. He enjoyed camping and visiting the Adirondacks and Tupper Lake. Steve loved dogs and always had one with him. He will always be remembered for being a loving father and Papa. Steve was predeceased by siblings Larry, Darryl, Gene, Wanda and Dennis and his granddaughter, Rylee Bartlett.
Surviving are his son, Derrick Bartlett; six grandchildren; siblings, Vicki Jodway and Jacqueline (Kevin) Bond; his sidekick nephew, Darryl Jodway; and several other nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be from 11am – 1pm on Saturday, September 6 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street Fulton, NY 13069 with a service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Fulton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, https://www.alz.org/centralnewyork in Steve’s memory.
