Shawn D. Merrill, age 30 of Fulton, NY passed away on Saturday, October 1, 2022, at Oswego Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his brother, Matthew Merrill; grandfather, Jerry Fredette; and nephew, Brayden Raymond.
Shawn is survived by his loving parents, Scotty and Maxine Dingman; siblings, Angel Dingman, Kevin Dingman, Stosha (Keith, Sr.) Holley, Alishia Dingman, Johnny Swatkowski, Joseph (Sarah Sixberry) Swatkowski, Karin Dingman, Cloreesa Dingman and Scotty Dingman, Jr.; stepchildren, Morgan and Jase; grandmother, Yvonne Fredette; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Shawn was an avid Giants fan. He loved playing basketball, and he loved spending time with his family, especially his nieces and nephews. Shawn was a loving son, brother, uncle, cousin and friend who will be missed by all who knew him.
