Sara S. Heagerty

Obituary of Sara S. Heagerty September 19, 2014 Sara S. Heagerty, 37, of Oswego, died Friday. She was born in Oswego and lived most of her life in Fulton. Sara enjoyed reading, going on long walks and loved animals. Predeceased by her father, Clarence T. Heagerty, Jr. who died February 14, 2002; her grandmothers, Marcia Whitcomb and Julia Youngs. She is survived by her four children; her mother, Robin Heagerty of FL.; four sisters, Lori Godfrey of Buffalo, Pepper Richardson of Fulton, Cricket Kentsinger of PA and Jessica Hutchinson of Utica; four brothers, Clarence Heagerty III of N.C., Chadwick Heagerty of N.C., Sean Heagerty of Auburn and Matthew Heagerty of Canandaigua; several nieces and nephews. There are no calling hours. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Wednesday October 1, 2014 at the First United Methodist Church of Mexico, 4372 Church St., Mexico, NY 13114.
