Sandra E. "Sandie" Travis

Obituary of Sandra E. Travis Sandra E. “Sandie” Travis, 76 of Hannibal, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Tuesday, June 19th. Born in 1941 to her parents, who predeceased her, Floyd Schantz and Doris Standbrook, she was a native of Red Creek, NY. Sandie was a graduate of Red Creek High School class of 1959 and went on to work as a secretary at Black Clawson in Fulton. She married Jim Travis in 1963 and they had a full and happy life together raising their children. Sandie had been a proud partner with her husband owning and running the family business, Travis Floral Shop in Hannibal. She was a member of the Hannibal United Methodist Church and loved spending time with her family. Sandie was a loving and outstanding wife, mother and grandmother. Surviving are her husband of 54 years, Jim Travis of Hannibal; daughter, Brenda Wilson (Ron) of Hannibal; son, Bryan Travis (Tracy) of Altoona, PA; sister, Virginia Schlageter (Don) of Red Creek; grandchildren, Haley, Thomas and Curtis; nieces and nephews. Calling hours are from 4 to 7 p.m. on Friday, June 22nd at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street in Hannibal, NY with services at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 23rd at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hannibal Village Cemetery in Hannibal.
