Rosemary Ellen Woodard

Rosemary Ellen Woodard, 79, of Fulton, NY, passed away on Wednesday, July 30, 2025, at the Northwoods Rehabilitation & Nursing Center in Moravia, NY. Born on January 21, 1946, in Fulton, she was a daughter of the late Donald Francis and Evelyn Louise (Harris) Woodard. Rosemary graduated from Oswego Catholic High School in 1963. She was a graduate of Maria Regina College in Syracuse 1965 with associate in arts before graduating from St. Joseph’s nursing school 1968. After nursing school, Rosemary worked for Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington DC from 1970-73. Throughout her career, Rosemary served as a registered nurse for Nestles, Hospital Home Health Care, Oswego Hospital, Bishop Commons, and for A. L. Lee Memorial hospital until they closed. She was a natural caretaker and enjoyed tending to her garden, caring for people and for her adopted cats. She was predeceased by her brother, Donald Jr. Woodard.

Surviving are her son, Daniel (Shannon) Woodard; three grandchildren, Jennifer Guilds, Daniel Jr., and Elizabeth Woodard; two sisters, Evelyn (Gordon) Infintine and Beatrice (David) Lathrop; sister-in-law, Sandra Woodard; her Aunt Charlotte (Harold) Porter; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

In respect to her wishes, there will be no services. A private burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
