Robert R. "Butch" Kitts

Obituary of Robert R. Kitts Robert R. “Butch” Kitts, 67, of Fulton, passed away on June 19, 2019 at Crouse Hospital after a brief illness. He was born in Syracuse, a son to Robert and Virginia Russell Kitts. Bob grew up in Central Square moving to Fulton in 1992. He was a Sergeant in the US Marine Corp reserves from 1976-1980. Bob worked in production at Miller Brewery and was the owner/operator of Kitt’s Auto in Hastings. Bob was an avid gardener and loved taking care of his flowers and tomatoes while enjoying his view of the river. He also enjoyed watching football, golf and his grandchildren swim in the pool. He is predeceased by his father, Robert. He will be forever loved and missed by his wife of 27 years, Patricia Murphy Kitts; four children, Rick Samson, Rebecca Samson, Brent Jones and Fallon Cooper; mother, Virginia Russell Kitts; brother, Paul Kitts; best friends, Todd Rhodes and Bill O’Donnell; brother in law, Anthony (Colleen) Terramiggi and several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The family will be holding a Celebration of Life for family and friends soon. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has care of arrangements.
