Richard S. "Dick" Engle

Obituary of Richard S. Engle December 21, 2016 Richard S. “Dick” Engle, 90, of Fulton, passed away at home surrounded by his family. Born in Fulton, he was a lifelong resident of the area. Dick had retired in 1994 from Sealright Co., Fulton. He enjoyed bowling, wood working and metal detecting. Dick was an Air Force veteran, serving from 1944 to 1946. He was predeceased by his wife, the former Bertha Wright in 2015. Richard is survived by his son, Richard J. (Theresa) of North Syracuse; a daughter, Jo-Ann M. Heer of Fulton; grandchildren, Laura (Brad) Miller, Jason Engle, Lyniea (Adam) Gardner and Bethany Engle; great-grandchildren, Shelby and Everly Miller, Allyson, Jillian, Spencer and Lincoln Gardner as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 27 from 4 to 7 p.m.at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A graveside service will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, December 28 at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, E.. Broadway, Fulton. Contributions may be made the American Heart Association or Hospice of Central New York in Dick’s memory.
