Obituary of Phyllis A. Benedict Phyllis A. Benedict, 92, of Hannibal, passed away on Thursday, June 21 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 18, 1926, in Alleghany, NY, a daughter to the late Luthene and Marie Hitchcock Pinney. Phyllis was predeceased by her husband, Milford and three brothers, Arthur, George and Kenneth Pinney. She is survived by her two children, Gary (Arlene) Benedict, Sr. and Denise (Gary) Broadwell both of Hannibal; five grandchildren, Gary (Bev), Benedict Jr., James Benedict, Melissa (Moddie) Breland, Jason Broadwell and Joanne Broadwell; eight great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 11 to 1 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal, where a funeral service will immediately follow at 1 p.m. Burial will be in Fairdale Rural Cemetery, Hannibal.
