Peter A. Wallis, Sr.

Peter A. Wallis, Sr., 69, of Mexico, NY, passed away on Friday, October 4, 2024, after a long illness. Born in Oswego, a son to the late Walter and Julia (Trumble) Wallis. He was an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting. Above all, Peter loved his family and would always tell them. He was predeceased by his son, Ryan M. Wallis; his grandson, Cole Dolbear; and five siblings, Alice Kling, Judy Wallis, Nancy DuBois, Bradley Wallis, and Bonnie Wallis.

Surviving are his children, Becky (Mike) Lindsley, Peter Wallis, Jr., Kelly Wallis, Erica Horning, and Marc Horning; 16 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; siblings, Martha Skilinski, David Wallis, Elston Wallis, John Wallis, Elaine Smith, Susan Entrott-Wallis, Jackie Anderson, and Gail Roth; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to give special thanks to his sister, Elaine, for taking such great care of Peter.

As per Peter’s wishes, there will be no services. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
