Paul "Lenny" Parkhurst

Paul “Lenny” L. Parkhurst, Sr., 76 of Sterling, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on June 13, 2024. He was born January 22, 1948 at Oswego Hospital.

Paul was well known for his love of the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing & trapping, along with spending time with family & friends, and exploring the North Country. Lenny was a lifetime member of the NHR, and the NYS Trappers Association.

Paul was predeceased by both his parents, Ora & Vernice Parkhurst; brothers, John Parkhurst, Larry Parkhurst, Doug Parkhurst, and sister, Hilda Carvey.

He is survived by his sister, Clarissa “Midge” Crouch of New Haven; children, Paul Parkhurst Jr. of Fulton, Jacqueline (Scott) Bortel of Sterling, James Parkhurst of Sterling & Jennifer Parkhurst of Syracuse; two stepchildren, Tammy (Wayne) Walts of New Haven & Robert Munger of Fulton, as well several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces & nephews.

Calling hours will be held 12 NOON - 2:00pm on Saturday, June 22nd, 2024 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal, NY, 13074.
