Obituary of Paul Lawrence McIntyre Paul Lawrence McIntyre, 92, of Sterling passed away July 6, at St Luke Health Services in Oswego. He was born in Fair Haven NY, the son of Melvin F. and Ruby (Carter) McIntyre. The family moved to Sterling soon after, where he grew up to own and operate a fruit farm for many years, before retiring and traveling throughout the USA, United Kingdom and Europe. Paul was predeceased by his beloved wife of 64 years, Jeanette Knopp McIntyre, and a grandson, Peter L. Eason. Paul is survived by his 4 children, Marilyn McIntyre (Robert Rowland) of Fulton, Paul McIntyre of Dover, DE, Marjorie (Art) Shortslef of Sterling and Thomas (Donna) McIntyre of Sterling; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; sisters, Ruth Smith of Baldwinsville and Lucille Heck of Alton. There will be no calling hours and burial will be private. Foster Funeral Home, Hannibal, has care of arrangements.
