Patrick B. Gardner

Patrick B. "Budd" Gardner, 75, of Fulton, died on March 13, 2026, at St. Joseph's Hospital in Syracuse with his loving wife Ann by his side. Budd was born December 22, 1950. He was the son of the late Edward B Gardner and Muriel Gardner who survives.

Budd spent 10 years in the Navy stationed on the nuclear sub–USS Lapon SSN-661. After the Navy, Budd was a contractor and procedure writer for the nuclear industry. In retirement Budd enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his dog, Spooky. Budd was a walking encyclopedia. He loved bantering with his friends and he was always quick with a good pun.

Budd is survived by his wife of 47 years, Ann, of Fulton, his mother, Muriel, of Niskayuna as well as several nieces and nephews.

A burial with military honors will be held at the Gerald Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Rd, Schuylerville, NY 12871 on Friday, May 15, 2026, at 1 PM. To leave a special message for the family, please sign the guestbook.
