Patricia “Pati” Jamieson, 91, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025, at her daughter’s home. Born in Syracuse, she was a daughter to the late Ernest and Agnes (Ireland) Thompson.
Pati worked for several years at Dey Brothers Department Store in Syracuse before leaving to raise her five children. She then trained through the Golden Sun bus service to be a school bus driver. The following year, she started driving for Mexico Academy and Central Schools, where she later retired after 26 years.
Pati enjoyed many activities; bowling, camping, Bunko Club, and stock car driving with the Brewerton Jet-ettes. She was also a 30 year member of the Fulton YMCA where she served as a water aerobics instructor for several years. She was also part of the Palermo TOPS, where she achieved and maintained KOPS status. Pati was a long standing member of The Daughters of Nile – women’s group associated with the Tigris Temple Masons of Liverpool, where her husband was a shrine member.
She was predeceased by her husband of 48 years, Charles “Chick” Jamieson; their son, Clifford; their grandson, Michael and her brother, Fred Thompson.
Surviving are her four children, Charles W. Jamieson, Colleen (Ray) Spataro, Cheryl (Skip) Parr, and Christi Jamieson; 11 grandchildren; 26 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.
Calling hours will be from 11am – 1pm on Tuesday, November 4 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service to follow at 1pm. Burial will be in Pennellville Cemetery, Co Rt 54, Schroeppel.
