Obituary of Nicholas A. Gamble January 7, 2017 Nicholas A. Gamble, 47, of Fulton, passed away on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Buffalo, he lived in Fulton most of his life. Nick was a graduate of G. Ray Bodley High School class of 1988 and had worked for the City of Fulton Department of Parks & Recreation briefly before becoming visually impaired. He was a communicant of Holy Trinity Parish in Fulton; member of St. Joseph’s Council #254 and 4th Degree Assembly #748 Knights of Columbus in Fulton. Nick was also an associate member of Merton R. Kemp, Jr. Marine Corps League Detachment #651. Nick was predeceased by his parents, Nicholas and Eileen Thom Gamble and is survived by several cousins. A calling hour will be held from 9 to 10 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2017 at Holy Trinity Parish, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets in Fulton with a Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials are encouraged to the NYS Commission for the Blind and Visually Handicapped, 52 Washington Street, South Building, Room 201, Rensselaer, NY 12144-2796.
