Nelson H. Pepper, Sr.

Obituary of Nelson H. Pepper, Sr. Nelson H. Pepper, Sr., 80, of Volney, passed away on Wednesday, November 7 at Oswego Hospital following a long illness. He retired as a truck driver for Riccelli Enterprises in Syracuse after 35 years and had previously worked at Nestle Company in Fulton. Nelson was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Weldon Pepper in 2008 and by a son, Nelson H. Pepper, Jr. in 2005 Surviving are his children, Christopher (Julie) Pepper and Carol (George Seaton) Pepper Pecoy all of Volney; ten grandchildren; sixgreat grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild;brothers, Ward (Rose) Pepper of Oswego and Kenneth (Barb) Pepper of Brewerton; sisters, Leona LaRock of NC, Patricia Brockett of Williamstown and Pearl Evans of Phoenix; several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. on Friday, November 16 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 2819 County Route 45, Fulton with burial at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
