Muriel Pluff

Obituary of Muriel Pluff October 13, 2014 Muriel Pluff, 96, of Oswego, passed away Monday at St. Luke Health Services in Oswego. Born in Fulton, she was a resident of the Phoenix and Fulton area before moving to Florida for 25 years and returning to the area in 2006. Muriel retired after 10 years of service at Nestle Co. in Fulton. She enjoyed fishing with her father and golfing with her husband. Muriel loved watercolor painting. She was predeceased by her husband of 66 years, Francis A. Pluff, who died in 2009, a son, David A. Pluff, in 2005 and by a sister, Betty Arnold. Mrs. Pluff is survived by two sons, Bill (Maureen) Pluff of Oswego and Richard Pluff of FL; four grandchildren; three great granddaughters. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday, October 20 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church, 309 Buffalo St., Fulton. Burial will be in Phoenix Rural Cemetery. Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Contributions may be made in her son David’s memory to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons Street, P.O. Box 7, E.
