Michael J. Pereira

Michael James Pereira, 60, of Hannibal, NY, passed away on January 18, 2026, after a short illness. Michael was a friend to all who knew him. His positive attitude and caring nature touched countless lives, and he was known for his daily calls just to check in and brighten someone’s day.

He enjoyed his visits with friends and cherished his morning coffee while listening to his favorite rock music. These simple pleasures reflected his easygoing spirit and love for connection.

Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Manuel Pereira and Linda Warrick, and his sister, Diana. He is survived by his stepmother, Jacqueline Pereira. Though he had no spouse or children, Michael’s circle of friends was like family, and his kindness and warmth will be deeply missed.

Michael’s life was a testament to the power of simple acts of love and connection. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of compassion that will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
