Michael D. Lockwood, a beloved resident of Fulton, NY, passed away peacefully on Monday, November 10, 2025, at the age of 61. Born in Oswego, New York, on Wednesday, September 2, 1964, Mike lived a life full of love, adventure, and dedication to his family and community.
A devoted husband and father, Mike is survived by his cherished wife of 36 years, Crystal K. Lockwood of Fulton, NY. Together, they built a loving family, raising two wonderful children: Alicia (Brandon) Burrows and Brandon (Ashley) Lockwood. His legacy continues through his adoring grandchildren, Blake, Bryce, and Theo, who were the light of his life. Michael is also survived by his sister, Denise (Ronald) Owen, and a close-knit extended family of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends, who all held a special place in his heart.
Mike was predeceased by his parents, Dennis and Elaine Lockwood, whose loving guidance shaped the man he would become. As a salesman for Davis Brothers Inc. in Oswego, New York, Mike built a career based on trust, integrity, and a genuine passion for connecting with people.
An avid outdoorsman, Mike found joy in hunting and camping at the Tug Hill at Flat Rock Inn, where he made some truly wonderful friends. His enthusiasm for sports and youth development was evident in his service as president of Fulton Youth Soccer and his dedication to coaching both boys' and girls' soccer teams. He took immense pride in coaching his own children, instilling in them the values of teamwork and perseverance.
Beyond his many accomplishments, Mike will be remembered for his warm spirit, witty humor, and unwavering pride in his family. His memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.
