Mary K. Needles

Mary K. Needles, 65, of Oswego, NY passed away at home on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, surrounded by her loving family after a hard-fought battle against cancer. She was born on June 12, 1959, in Normal, Illinois to the late Bernard and Beulah (Cooper) Lannie. Mary was a graduate of Bloomington High School, class of 1977, where she lettered three years in varsity tennis.

Mary is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Michael D. Needles; brothers, Robert Frank and Joseph Lannie; multiple sisters and brothers-in-law, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

She enjoyed horseback riding, sightseeing, exploring and meeting people. Mary held a private pilot license and was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA), and the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA). She was a loving and devoted wife, sister, aunt and friend who will be sorely missed by all who loved her.

There will be no funeral services. A celebration of life will be held in June in Illinois. To leave a special message for the family, please sign the guestbook.
