Mary Ann Crissy, 90, of Lake City, passed away peacefully on Friday morning, June 27, 2025, at the Haven Hospice – Suwannee Valley Care Center in Lake City, after an extended illness. She was born in Binghamton, NY on August 4, 1934, to the late Everett Freehling and Anna Pilpovic Freehling. She had made Lake City her home the past three years, moving here from the Lakeland area. She worked for over 25 years with the Nestles Chocolate Company and in her retirement enjoyed traveling spending time with her animals, especially her cats, spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren as well as enjoying dancing. She was of the Christian Faith. She is preceded in death by her husband of 20 years, Elmer Crissy; and her son, David Zielinski.
She is survived by her daughters, Louann Black of Lake City and Barbara Lagoe of Port Orange; sister, Judith McQueen (Claude) of Fulton, NY; and daughter-in-law, Colleen Zielinski of Ocala. Six grandchildren, many great-grandchildren and many extended family members, cousins and friends also survive.
