Marcus J. Simmons

Marcus “Mark” J. Simmons, 41, of Hannibal passed away unexpectedly. A lifetime resident of Hannibal, he had worked as an iron worker for Superior Steel. He enjoyed shooting pool, riding motorcycles and fishing.

Mark was predeceased by his mother, Arlynn Simmons; brother, Thomas Simmons; grandparents, Thomas and Elizabeth Simmons, uncle, Danny Simmons, and aunt, Christine Simmons.

Surviving to cherish his memory is his daughter, Daisey Simmons; parent, William and Julie Simmons, stepsiblings, Scott Sitzer, Danielle Thompson, and Bethany Gerard; nephews, Grayson Simmons and Walker Simmons, along with several aunts and uncles.

A celebration of life will be held from 3:00pm-7:00pm, Friday May 8, 2026 at the Hannibal American Legion Prior Stock Post 1552, 226 Rochester Street, Hannibal, NY, 13074.
