Obituary of Mandy F. (Claflin) Rivera Mandy F. (Claflin) Rivera, 36, most recently of Syracuse passed away unexpectedly in her sleep on Sunday, October 14, 2018. She was born in Derby, CT, a daughter to Eduardo and Diane Griswold Rivera. Mandy graduated from Bullard Havens Technical School in Bridgeport, CT with high honors. She was an architectural draftsman finishing second in her class. Mandy was formerly employed by the U.S. Post Office. She enjoyed dancing, Latin culture, dolphins and loved her extended family. Mandy was predeceased by her father, Eduardo. She is survived by her two daughters, Ariana Marie and Rebecca Anne; mother, Diane Rivera; brother, Billy; sister, Lydia; uncle, Robert (Barbara) and James (Diana); grandmother, Memere as well as several cousins and extended family. There will be no services. For those wishing, contributions may be made to the American Heart Association in Mandy’s memory. Mandy is now at rest, pain free and surrounded with love. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton, has care of arrangements.
