Linda M. Royce

Linda M. Royce, cherished mother, grandmother, foster parent, and friend, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 11, 2025. Born in Goshen, New York, on September 1, 1945, Linda devoted her life to nurturing and caring for others with unmatched compassion and warmth.

Linda resided in Fulton, NY, where she built a life filled with love, dedication, and service. She is survived by her loving children: Karen S. Royce, of Phelps, NY; Diane Royce, of Fulton, NY; and Gary Royce Jr., of Palermo, NY. Her legacy continues through her grandchildren: Leslie (Nicole) Baker III of Martville, NY; Tyler Royce of Mexico, NY; Terry Royce of Hannibal, NY; Tiffany Royce of Fulton, NY; David Baker of Fulton, NY; Audrey (Adam) Wiggins of Port Byron, NY; and Kayla Baker of Fulton, NY, as well as her 13 beloved great-grandchildren. Linda also leaves behind her sister, Esther Muller of Fulton, NY, foster daughter Michelle Roe of Syracuse, NY, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert R. Fullington and Isabelle A. Fullington, her dear daughter Kathrine Baker, and two great-grandchildren.

Professionally, Linda was known for her incredible work as a foster parent at her own home in Fulton, NY. Over 15 years, Linda opened her heart and home to more than 67 teenagers, providing them with a nurturing environment and invaluable support. Beyond her role as a foster parent, Linda was an accomplished cook and an extraordinary mother. She is fondly remembered for her warm meals and the love she poured into caring for her family and community. Her selfless spirit and kindness left an indelible mark on those fortunate enough to know her.

The family is deeply thankful for the devoted care provided to Linda by Shauna and Gary Goodman of Waterloo, NY, and Michele Jenson of Phelps, NY, during her final days.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, December 18, 2025, from 12:30pm - 1:30pm with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY. Burial will be in the spring at Ira Union Cemetery.
