Linda G. Ford

Linda G. Ford, 82, of Hannibal, NY, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 14, 2025, at Morningstar Nursing Home. She was born on August 31, 1942, to the late Levi and Marjorie (McGlen) Brackett. Linda dedicated 35 years of her life as a library assistant for the Hannibal Central School District before retiring. She loved working with the children at the Cayuga Street Library. She enjoyed reading, gardening, listening to music, and traveling with her husband, sisters, and friends. Linda will always be remembered for being loving, caring, and kind.

Surviving are her husband of 64 years, Gary; sons, Kenneth (Jean) Ford, Ronald (Karen) Ford, Dean Ford; five grandchildren, Jessica (Brian) Vanella, Kevin Ford, Jeffery Ford, Katelyn (Shawn) Parkhurst and Nicole (Christian) Ford; three great-grandchildren, Matthew, Madelyn, and Noah; four siblings, Marilyn (Bill) Kranze, Joy (Gary) Schumaker, Connie (Bob) Brackett, and Dick (Tina) Brackett. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her niece Shelly, and nephews Chuck and Robby.

The family wishes to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of Morningstar Nursing home for their loving care of Linda.
