Obituary of Linda Halsey Cary Coakley Linda Halsey Cary Coakley, 76, of West Monroe, formerly of Fulton, passed away on Wednesday, February 7, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse. She had worked as a sales representative for Revlon Cosmetics in the eastern upstate New York region. Linda also had worked in sales for Realty World and ERA Abell Real Estate and as a hairdresser at Hair We Are in Fulton and previously owned and operated Crowning Glory Beauty Shop in Fulton. She enjoyed painting and quilting and was the author of “Great Grandma Ives’ Redwork” a quilt stitching method book. Surviving are her husband, Edward Coakley of West Monroe; three children, Tara (Matt) Cary Kucharski of Camillus, Brett (Robin) Cary and Mitch (Jennifer) Cary all of Fulton; three step-children, Ed (Cory) Coakley of Baldwinsville, Jeff (Gretchen) Coakley of Fulton and Robert (Angela) Coakley of Port Orange, FL; 15 grandchildren and three nephews. Calling hours are 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, February 12 at Foster Funeral Home, Inc., 910 Fay Street, Fulton with services 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the spring at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Memorial contributions are encouraged to a favorite charity.
