Leroy “Ace” Horn, 90, of Oswego, NY passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026, at Oswego Hospital. Born in Auburn, NY to the late Winfield, Sr. and Jessie (Tompkins) Horn, he was lifelong resident of the Cato area. Leroy served in the Army National Guard from 1954-1957. After his service, he worked as an auto mechanic and was part of the Masonic Lodge in Cato. Leroy enjoyed anything that had to do with cars and was a racecar driver for a while. He was also a collector of oil lamps and had collected over 300 various styles. Leroy was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy; his brother, Winfield, Jr.; four sons, Donald, Benard, Leroy Jr. and Gary; and daughter, Janet Goodrich.
Surviving are his daughter, Tracy (Everet) Fradenburgh; son-in-law, Paul Goodrich; three grandchildren, Jonathon, Jayme, and Jordyn; eight great grandchildren, Mason, Logan, Jadon, Shannon, Shawn, Sophia, Alexandria, and Mikolaj; one great-great grandson, Warren; sisters-in-law, Lousie Brooks and Sherry Pople; beloved grandpuppy, Cici; and several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews as well as extended family from The Perraults, The Allens, The Carrs, and The Romeos.
A calling hour will be from 11am-12pm on Tuesday, April 21st at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal with a service to follow at 12pm. Burial will be in Martville Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Muscular Dystrophy Association, https://giving.mda.org/ in Leroy’s memory.
