Obituary of Kevin H. Matthie Kevin H. Matthie, 66, of Fulton, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at home after a battle with cancer. He was born on February 24, 1952, in Potsdam, a second son to the late Vaughn E. and Philippa J. Matthie, Sr. In 1970 Kevin graduated from Potsdam High School with a regent’s diploma and then continued his education at Canton ATC with an Associate of Science in 1973. At the age of 62 he retired from Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse with over 26 years as Plant Utilities Engineer. Kevin enjoyed wood working, motorcycles, antiques, traveling and billards. He is survived by his wife, Ann B. Matthie; two brothers, Albert and Bruce Matthie and several step-grandchildren.All services will be held privately. Burial will be in Bayside Cemetery, Potsdam. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton, has care of the arrangements.
