Kevin W. Baker, 56, of Fulton, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, January 7, 2026, at Oswego Hospital. Born in Oswego, he was a son to the late Alton C. Baker, Sr. and Helen J. Conner. Kevin was a 1988 graduate of Hannibal High School. He then went on to serve in the US Army Charlie Guard, 3rd U.S. Infantry (The Old Guard). Kevin owned and operated a dog grooming and training business called “Woof x2”. He spent many years volunteering for the humane society in the D.C./Virginia area.
Surviving are his siblings, Teena (Matt) Lane-Billy, Elizabeth (Rusty) Abrams, Alton C. (Karen) Baker, Jr., Deanna Baker, Harriet (Mark) O’Bryan; step sister, Tammy (Dennis) Kieper; partner of 25 years, Kenneth Greenberg; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved dog, Bub.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, March 22 from 1pm - 4pm at the Hannibal American Legion, 226 Rochester St. Hannibal, NY 13074. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made in Kevin’s memory to a local animal shelter. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
