Obituary of Kenneth D. Wright October 24, 2016 Kenneth D. Wright, 69, of Fulton passed away on October 24th at home surrounded by his family and friends after a brief fight with cancer. Ken was employed in construction for Campolino and Fatti as well as being self-employed for many years in the same construction business. An avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping and fishing with his family and friends as well as long walks in nature. Ken enjoyed watching Nascar and traveling to Las Vegas and Florida. He will be greatly missed by his cat Socks. In his free time “Uncle Baa” would help kids learn to work with their hands and be creative. He was predeceased by his parents, Norris and Margaret Wright. Surviving are two daughters, Lourie (Mark) Calkins or Martville and Theresa (Gordon) Wright of Fulton; a lifelong girlfriend of 23 years, Patty Appalucci of Fulton; five sisters, Loretta (Robert) Swieton of Ilion, Laura Cooter of Syracuse, Helen Hamilton of Oswego, Martha Carlson of Fulton and Kathlerine (Jim) House of Auburn; four grandchildren, James, Amanda, Zach and Jessica; 16 Nieces and Nephews; two “Step-Sons” Randy and Rusty. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 2 from 11a.m. to 1p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton with a service to follow at 1 p.m. Contributions in Ken’s memory may be made to the Oswego County Humane Society, 110 West 2nd Street, Oswego, NY 13126.
