Kathy Thompson

Kathy M. Thompson, 68, of Pennellville, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, September 8, 2022, while vacationing in Florida. Kathy was born in Syracuse, to the late Charles and Joan (Roesch) Runge. She was an RN in the ICU for the last 35 years, most recently working at Oswego Hospital. Kathy enjoyed boat rides, fishing, and spending time with her family. She was predeceased by her husband, Howard “Boomer” and her daughter, Jodi Garrity.

Surviving are her children, David (Karlene) Thompson and Becky (Jeremy) Guernsey; grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Kathryn, Kyle, and Melinda; great-grandchild, Elijah; three sisters; two brothers; and several nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 11am on Sunday, September 25th at Ira Union (White) Cemetery, 13062 County Route 128 (White Cemetery Road), Cato, NY 13033.
