Obituary of Kathleen M. Whaley February 6, 2017 Kathleen Marie Whaley, 51, of Fulton, passed away on Monday, February 6, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester with her loving family by her side. Born April 17, 1965 in Oswego, she grew up in New Haven and graduated from Mexico High School in 1983. A resident of Fulton for many years, Kathy was employed at Sunoco Ethanol as a Human Resources Specialist. She loved her family and special times spent with them. Kathy really enjoyed traveling, gardening and living life to it’s fullest. She was predeceased by her father, Alton H. Babcock; grandparents, Francis and Elzire Miller; one aunt and two uncles. Kathy will be greatly missed and forever loved by her two daughters, Courtney and Marissa Whaley both of Fulton, who she adored; mother, Marlyn Babcock of Fulton; sister Deb (Nick) Anthony of Fulton; three brothers, David (Kathie) Babcock of Minnesota, Rick (Janette) Babcock of South Carolina, Dan (Nancy) Babcock of Rochester; former husband, Jim Whaley; two aunts; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Per Kathy’s request, there will be no calling hours. Family services will be private. Contributions in Kathy’s memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
