It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kandi Jean Denery, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Kandi was born on Friday, September 13, 1963, in Oswego, New York, and passed away peacefully on Wednesday, September 9, 2026, just shy of her 63rd birthday, in Palermo, New York.

Kandi is survived by her loving daughters, Jenny Stevens-Roberts and Angela Stevens, who were the light of her life. She was a proud and doting grandmother to Christopher, Jacob, Kylie, and Isabella, cherishing every moment spent with them. Kandi is also survived by her siblings, Kenneth Lindsley, Jr., Katrina Lindsley, and Kelly Lindsley, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and friends who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kenneth and MaryJean (Rourke) Lindsley, and her beloved husband of 12 years, Patrick M. Denery. Kandi's family finds comfort in knowing she is reunited with them.

Kandi was known for her famous peanut butter balls, a treat that brought joy to many. She found peace in watching the sunset and treasured the time spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects during calling hours on Thursday, September 17, 2026, from 5 PM to 6 PM at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, NY 13069. A graveside service celebrating Kandi's life will be held on Friday, September 18, 2026, at 12 PM at Roosevelt Cemetery, Pennellville, NY.
