Julie M. Balcom

Julie Balcom (née Mattison) stepped from Earth into the arms of her Savior and Heavenly Father on August 20, 2025. She was a dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. She is survived by her husband, Craig; her three daughters: Shannon (Joseph), Dana (Michael), and Jesse (Carl); her two step-sons: Chris (Melissa) and Eric (Angie); her seventeen grandchildren, and two great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by family and friends until they are reunited with her in Glory.

A graveside service will be held on Monday the 25th in the chapel at Riverside Cemetery, 4024 County Route 57, Oswego, NY at 9 am. Family and friends are welcome to attend. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Oswego City Animal Shelter, 621 East Seneca Street, Oswego, NY 13126. We know all the lost puppies were close to her heart.
