Obituary of Johanna T. Salsbury Johanna T. Salsbury, 81, formerly of Brewerton, currently a resident of Baldwinsville, passed away on June 16, 2020. She had worked many years as a typist for Onondaga County. Johanna enjoyed traveling with her late husband of 21 years, Leland, to many places, especially Hawaii. She also was an active member of the Liverpool Elk’s Lodge, TOPS Club, Sweet Adeline’s of Syracuse and many social activities. In addition to her husband, she was also predeceased by her sister, Dolores Giroski. Johanna will be greatly missed by her children, Philip (Pam) Jufko, Todd (Sue) Jufko, Jill Freytag (Randy Polmanteer) and Steve Salsbury; grandchildren, Joshua Jufko, Jessica Jufko, Natasha Jufko and Brandi Freytag; nephew and niece, Steve Giroski and Terri Hayes. A calling hour will be held Saturday, June 20, from 10 to 11 am with a service to immediately follow at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. Face coverings and social distancing will be required. Burial will follow at Mt. Adnah Cemetery, Fulton. Donations in Johanna’s memory may be made to: Humane Society of CNY, 4915 W.
