Obituary of Joan E. Duver October 31, 2016 Joan E. Duver, 90, of Fulton, NY, passed away on Monday, October 31 at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Born in Syracuse, NY she lived most of her life in Fulton. As a young child she lived in the Bloomfield, NJ area, moving to Fulton to attend Fulton High School where she graduated in 1943. Joan had worked various jobs in the Fulton area including Container Corporation of America, Fulton D.M.V. and S.U.N.Y. at Oswego. She was a life member of the former First Congregational, United Church of Christ in Fulton where she organized and ran the book fair. Joan was an excellent bowler, playing on several teams through the years. She was predeceased by her parents, Mirla LaBoeuf Tennyck and Ken Nellis, her step-father, Ace Tennyck and a great- granddaughter, Audrey Mileskey-Lareau. Surviving are her husband of 57 years, John Duver of Fulton; a son, Jan (Martha) Mileskey of Baldwinsville; a daughter, Jo Anne (Robert) Milliner of Powell, OH; four grandchildren, John Mileskey, Laura Mileskey-Cook, Jennifer Milliner-Morgan and Brandon Milliner; six great-grandchildren; a cousin, Edward Space of CA and her favorite cat, Socks. Family and friends are invited to a calling hour from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday, November 5 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street in Fulton. Private services will follow. In lieu of flowers, contributions are encouraged to the Oswego County Humane Society, 265 West First Street, Oswego, NY 13126.
