Obituary of James A. Stuart October 18, 2016 James A. Stuart, 69, of Fulton lost his three year courageous battle with Cancer on Tuesday. He was born in Fulton to the late Richard A. and Delores Andersen Stuart. James retired from Niagara Mohawk, after 26 years of service as a Chief Gas Mechanic. He was a Marine Corps Veteran serving in Vietnam from 1965-1968 and was a life member of the Phoenix VFW Post 5540, Phoenix American Legion Post 418 and Liverpool Elks Lodge 2348. Jim loved to hunt and was an avid outdoorsman. He was especially known for his unique humor and “Jiminisms”. Surviving to cherish his memory are his wife, Sharon Bailey Stuart; a daughter, Sheryl (Chris) Shahan of Tennessee; three step-sons, Brian Corsoneti of Liverpool, Marc Corsoneti of Florida and Jon Corsoneti of Baldwinsville; six grandchildren, Isabella and Emily Shahan, Ryan, Michael Ayden and Giovanna Corsoneti; a sister, Judy (Joe) Corso and brother, Jerry (Deb) Stuart. Calling hours are Saturday October 22 from 3 to 7 p.m. at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. A graveside service with military honors will be held Monday, October 24 at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary’s Cemetery, South Seventh St., Fulton.
