James F. Long, “Jimmer”, 84, of Sterling, NY, passed away peacefully at home on Sunday, March 17, 2024. Born in Batavia, NY, Jim was a long time resident of Sterling. Jim was a hunter, fisherman, farmer, and fireman throughout his 84 years.
Jim is survived by his loving wife and caregiver of 61 years, Sandra (McMillen); his daughter, Cheryl (Tom) Anthony; his son, Chris (Michele) Long; his grandsons, Gabe (Amanda) Anthony and Ian Anthony; his granddaughters, Mckayla (Christopher Howden) Long and Cassandra (Billy Bullock) Long.
There will be no calling hours or services at this time. Foster Funeral Home has care of arrangements.
