Obituary of Jack P. Percival March 24, 2017 Jack P. Percival, 89, of Fulton, passed away at St. Luke’s Health Center in Oswego. He was born December 14, 1927 in Fulton, to the late Glenn and Lucille Percival. After graduating from Fulton High School in 1945, Jack joined the Navy and achieved the rank of Seaman Second Class before his honorable discharge to care for his mother. On December 24, 1949 he married Harriet Howard, to whom he would be married for 53 years, until her death in 2002. Jack was employed first with Dilts and then D.K. Manufacturing Corp. in 1955, where he would work until his retirement in 1993. He was a member of the Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church. In his spare time, Jack enjoyed camping, square dancing with his wife with the Shirts & Skirts, playing cards, gardening and watching baseball and NASCAR. In 2013, he moved to Emeritus West Side Manor Assisted Living in Liverpool, where he received excellent care and made many good friends among both staff and fellow residents. In addition to his wife Harriet, he was predeceased by his brother George and sisters, Doris Clark and Betty Jean Percival. Jack will be greatly missed by his daughter, Judy (Dennis) Cooper; son, Gary (Deb) Percival; grandchildren, Aaron Conn, Alex Conn, Greg (Elizabeth) Cooper, Gary (Mary Kate) Percival, Jr., Amy (Noel) Hunter and Sarah Percival; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. His family would like to thank the staff of St. Luke’s Health Services for the loving care that Jack received. Calling hours are 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 29 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay St., Fulton. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association or American Cancer Society.
