Obituary of J. Peter Burr J. Peter Burr, 80, of Syracuse, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday, April 18th at Upstate University Hospital in Syracuse. Pete was the founder and owner of Dover Enterprises in Syracuse for over 40 years and was a former funeral director and professional wrestler. He was a member of Memorial Masonic Lodge, Tigris Shriners and the Royal Order of Jesters. Pete is survived by his son, Jeff (Mary) Burr and three grandchildren. Services will be private.
