Obituary of Herbert E. Harris October 10, 2014 Herbert E. Harris, 89, of Fulton passed away Friday at Oswego Hospital. Born in Fulton, he had lived most of his life in the Parish area. Herbert retired from Gould’s Pumps after many years. Following retirement, he returned to work at P&C Grocery Store in North Syracuse as a stock clerk. He was a Navy veteran serving from 1942-1945. His wife, Iva Whipple Harris predeceased him on February 23, 2010, as well as children, Lynn, Gerald, Cynthia, Laurie and Rebecca Harris. Herbert is survived by a daughter, Brenda Harris Stone of Fulton; a son, Steven Harris of Hastings; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held 10 a.m. Friday at North Syracuse Cemetery, 555 South Bay Road, North Syracuse. There are no calling hours. Foster Funeral Home, Fulton has charge of arrangements.
