Heidi Lynn Downs

Obituary of Heidi Lynn Downs Heidi Lynn Downs, 52, of Hannibal, passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2019 at Upstate University Hospital after a battle with breast cancer. She was born in 1966, in Oswego, a daughter to William and Linda Shear Fowler. Heidi graduated in 1984 from Southwest Oswego Baptist School. She then continued her education at Byrant and Stratton College graduating with a business degree then later continuing her education at Cayuga Community College in Medical Coding. Heidi was employed with Riverview Pediatrics, formerly Trust Pediatrics, for over 30 years. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, working on the family farm and greenhouses but above all she enjoyed her family and grandchildren. Heidi was predeceased by her grandson, George Henry Wilbur. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, Jobie Darin; four children, Brianna (Terry) Wilbur, Jodi (David Farley) Downs, Amber (Michael Moore) Downs and her wonderful son, Rylie Darin Downs all of Hannibal; six grandchildren, Haley, Landen, Leonard, Oliver, Chloe and Charles; parents, William and Linda Fowler of Hannibal; four siblings, Willy (Becky Shortsleeve) Fowler of Hannibal, Bobbie-Lee (Jeremy) Cornell of Fulton, Jason (Heather) Fowler of IN and Jonathan “Jack” (Erin) Hess of Hannibal as well as several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at Foster Funeral Home, 837 Cayuga Street, Hannibal. Burial will be in Springbrook Cemetery, Sterling, in the spring.
