Greta M. Amico

Greta Mae Amico, a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at the age of 66. Born on Friday, March 27th, 1959, in Oswego, New York, Greta was a cherished resident of Fulton, NY, where she spent her life surrounded by family and friends.

Greta is survived by her loving daughters, Cindee Yates (Robert), Genny Amico (Clayton III), and Joann Mulcahey (Christopher), all of Fulton, NY. Her legacy continues through her cherished grandchildren, Bobby, Morgan, Derick (America), Devin, Catalina (Hiram), Emily, Kylie, Clayton IV, and Chase, as well as her great-grandchildren, Theo, Xander, and Grayson. Greta is also survived by her siblings, Sandra Taylor of Phoenix, AZ, Sharon MacPherson of Parish, NY, Roland Staring of Brewerton, NY, Denise Zeike of Virginia, Clifford Staring (Sheryl) of Saratoga Springs, and Eric Staring (Pixie) of North Carolina. She leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends who will miss her dearly.

Greta was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Ada Staring, and her brother, Michael Staring.

Greta dedicated many years of her life to her work as an overnight stocker at Walmart in Fulton, NY, before retiring. Prior to that, she spent 25 years as a forklift operator at Birdseye, where she was known for her strong work ethic and dedication.

Greta lived, laughed, and loved with a spirit that was wild and free. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Greta's life during calling hours on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, from 11 am to 1pm at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton, followed by a funeral service at 1pm. To leave a special message for the family, please sign the guestbook.
