Obituary of Gloria E. White Gloria Elaine (Bartlett) White, 88, lifelong resident of the Town of Volney, passed away on January 2, 2021. Gloria retired from Nestle in Fulton after 26 years. She attended Mexico schools and was a member of Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir. She was also a member of the Mt. Pleasant Grange. Gloria enjoyed crocheting, baking her famous Granny rolls, playing Wheel of Fortune at casinos, spending time with her large family and most of all, hunting for bargains at garage sales. She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Aleata (Bellinger) Bartlett; brothers, Frank and Harold Bartlett; sisters, Hattie Campbell, Ida Pearl Parsons and Margorie Chubb; her husband, Robert; children, Jerry Crouch and Elaine Crouch and son-in-law, John Semeraro. Gloria is survived by her loving children, Connie (Garry) Stanard, Barbara (Joseph) Marotta, William (Rose Ann) White, Brenda Semeraro all of Fulton, Gary (Brenda) Weaver of Indiana and Roxanne Meunier of Florida; grandchildren, Allison (Chris) Nelson, Adam (Sheena) Stanard, Erica Geller, Alexis Semeraro, Anthony Semeraro, Lisa Munger, Kim Gorton as well as great-grandchildren. Gloria was one of thirteen children and is survived by siblings, Arlene Barlow, Kathleen Myers, William Bartlett, Ross Bartlett, Charlotte Pizio, Patricia Gregory, Donald Bartlett and Sandra “Sue” Zappala and many nieces and nephews. Her family wishes to thank the staff at St. Luke’s and Oswego Hospital for the care they provided to Gloria. All services will be held in the spring. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Volney. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church, 243 Mt. Pleasant Road, Fulton, NY 13069, in Gloria’s memory.
