Obituary of Genevieve E. Dings Genevieve E. Dings, 97, of Fulton, passed away peacefully on Monday, April 10, 2017 at Oswego Hospital. A native of Fulton, she was a life resident. She retired from Battle Island Clubhouse in 1997 after 18 years. Previously Genevieve owned R&G Restaurant in Fulton from 1967 to 1979. She had also worked at Sealright Packaging Company in Fulton from 1953 to 1960. Genevieve was a communicant of Holy Trinity Church in Fulton. She was an auxiliary member of Fulton Moose Lodge #1280 in Fulton, and was a volunteer at A. L. Lee Memorial Hospital for several years. Genevieve was predeceased by her parents, Anthony Pafumi and Mary Deambrose Pafumi; first husband, Ralph Tetro in 1982, second husband, Robert Dings in 2004 and two sisters, Barbara Marley and Frances Pafumi. Surviving are: three daughters, Adeline M. (Paul) Castaldo of Oswego; Diane M. (Steve) Diak of Fulton and Charlene M. (Donald) Moody of Fulton; son, Joseph R. Tetro of Fulton; brother, Frank Pafumi of Fulton; nine grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren as well as several nieces and nephews. Calling hours are 4 to 7 p.m. Monday, April 24 at Foster Funeral Home, 910 Fay Street, Fulton. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, April 25 at The Church of the Holy Trinity, corner of Rochester and South Third Streets in Fulton. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Fulton. Contributions in Genevieve’s memory may be made to the Ladies Home, 43 E.
